We offer a comprehensive reading on to tape service, which can be of benefit to Councils, DSS and other Organisations and businesses wanting to reach this section of the community.

Audio recordings are often produced on cassette tape since blind and visually impaired people frequently rely upon cassette based publications and in the past were most likely to have access to audio cassette players.

We are also able to produce recordings on Daisy CD, which can be played on Daisy Readers, Computers and DVD Players.

Send one copy of the material you want us to record, along with the following:

1. Your contact information.
2. Any special instructions for reading page numbers, footnotes, bibliographies or diagrams.
3. An indication of whether you want the whole document read, or just certain parts, and in what order.
4. The deadline, if any.

Audio cassettes are usually 90 minutes in length and can hold approximately 20 pages of printed material (8,000 words) per side.

We can produce both visual and Braille labels for the cassettes and library boxes.

All prices are subject to the complexity of the document. All documents need to be seen before the price is confirmed.

Charges are £10.00 per hour for staff time.
